Bahrain Updates: 8 August: Detainees verdicts range between a year, 2 years, 6 months and acquittal.The appeal court has sentenced 16 detainees to 1 year (5 detainees), 2 years (5 detainees), 6 months (2 detainees) and discharged the rest.₁Security forces continue targeting citizens' houses in Nawaidrat and Sitra₂. In Hamad Town, the riot police have arrested 3 young men after raiding their house. Whereas, public prosecution has kept the child, Mirza A.Shaheed Mirza, 12, behind bars. Bahrain updates: 7 August : Darkness gangs suppressing and raiding houses
More than 24 residential areas in Bahrain have been suppressed and faced collective punishment. Aali, Manama, Barbar, Sitra, Tubli, Karbabad and AlDair₁ have witnessed peaceful protests calling for freedom and democracy, all were suppressed too, causing some injuries among the protesters ₂
Darkness gangs have raided a house in Karbabad, terrorized the children, beaten the father who's sick, cursed the women and thrown more than 10 tear gas canisters around the house, " I can still taste the gas in my throat and we are suffering from stomachache and Nausea" said the lady who documented the case to BCHR.
Hussain AlAali family has expressed their deep concern toward their son who's sick and arrested since more than 2 weeks without knowing his whereabouts. ₃

Bahrain Updates: 6 August : Mercenaries suppressing more than 19 villagesMore than 19 villages have been suppressed, though some of them haven't had any kind of demonstration at that time.₁ Security forces have applied collective punishment by drowning the villages with toxic gasses ₂ in Saar, Karrana, Manama, Hamla and Salmabad which have had peaceful protests causing some injuries among the protesters.Pictures attached.Zainab AlKhawaja, a senior member in BCHR, is kept with prostitution prisoners and not with the Bahraini female prisoners, as BCHR received.Bahrain court has postponed Mahdi Abu Deeb, the founder and leader of Bahrain Teachers' Association (BTA) and Jaleela AlSalman trial to 9th September, 2012.₃ Also, the court has freed Younis AlAshoori who's an administrator at Muharraq Maternity Hospital and Geriatric Services.₄The Dry Dock Prison administration refuses to transfer the detainee, Ahmed Own to the prison clinic to get medical treatment. Bahrain court has postponed Nabeel Rajab's trial to 12 August,2012. Today's trial should have approved the sentence or release him. ₁
It has been 4 days since the right of self determination protest and victims sill come to BCHR to document their cases. More than 6 protesters, 2 of them are minors were kidnapped, tortured and threatened with sexual harassed in Bani Jamra, AlDair and AlBilad AlQadeem.₂
The detainee, Mohammed Saleem, 15, from Bani jamra was arrested on Thursday protest and facing 5 cases attempted murder, illegal gathering ,burning the bus, having Molotov and riots.₃

Bahrain updates: 4 August: Zainab Alkhawaja will spend the next week in jail and tomorrow is Nabeel's appeal trial.
As part of their humiliation campaign, mercenaries attack and beat clerics -Shitte Shaikhs- force them to take off their turbans, curse their doctrine and call them infidels.₁
Friday dawn, Sadiq Jaffer Hussain, 15, from Sanad was sitting next to his house with his friend when he saw riot police running toward them, Sadiq got arrested and he's facing riot acts and sentenced to 15 days under investigation. ₂
Another minor, he's 17, was arrested after running over him, electrically shocked with manual machine " I won't let you go unless the charge finishes" said the officer, later he was transferred to the Youth Houses to get another intensive tutoring session before going to the Exhibition police station where security forces focused on beaten him on his wound in his hand and video recording the lesson of torture. ₃
BCHR has received news that AlDair detainees of " the right of self determination " are being beaten and torture in prison to make sure they do not change their testimony in the public prosecution.
A peaceful protest has gone out in Barbar in solidarity with the human rights activist, Mr. Nabeel Rajab, whose appeal trial is tomorrow₄, and Zainab AlKhawaja , a senior member in BCHR, is sentenced to 7 days under investigation and she stated that she was threatened to stab the needle in her neck if she refused to take it.

Bahrain update: 2 August: Bahrain protests under “the right of self determination”Numerous peaceful protests have gone out calling for democracy and freedom, 3 of them were a called by 14 Feb Coalition in Bani Jamra, Bilad AlQadeem and AlDair under the name of “the right of self determination 12” all three grand protests have been suppressed violently, causing lots of serious injuries with birdshots. ₁Moreover, more than 35 protesters have been arrested after raiding their houses without an arrest warrant in the 3 villages; some were released after having a heavy beating meal₂. Bahrain updates: 1 August: Bahrain government keeps on targeting children under age 18.Two more kids have been arrested today₁, and Mohammed AbdulAmeer Mushaima, 16, has been transferred to the public prosecution without a lawyer, moreover, Mohammed confessions were extracted under torture, as his family stated to BCHR.Another child from Janosan was kidnapped, torture and beaten with batons by Bahrain riot police whom stole his phone too, as BCHR has documented.Picture attached.In Janosan also, a lady got injured with a stun grenade in her hand and a protester got injured with birdshots in his face and in Nuwaidrat too. ₂Since April, 2011, the detainee Mohammed Sahwan from Sanabis was injured with birdshots in his head and the prison management refuses to allow him to get medical treatment, though he’s in terrible pain.Mercenaries continue raiding and targeting houses at dawn without a reason. Bahrain updates: 31 July: Security forces have raided more than 311 houses in June and July!More than 311 houses were raided in 2 months only and more than 1000 cars were crashed till date.₁Mohammed AlMaghni, who got arrested from the airport was transferred to the prison hospital as his health condition gone bad due excessive torture, MOI claims that Mohammed is a member in 14 Feb coalition₂. Also, Khursheed’s brothers have stated to BCHR that they have been tortured by Turki Almajed, and Isa Ahmed Shamlooh was arrested on his way to KSA.Determination will never die in Bahrain, as many villages have gone out in peaceful protests₃ and faced toxic gases, collective punishment and some injuries in Ma’ameer.₄3. Bahrain updates: 30 July: Bahrain protests go on during the holy month.
His fate is still unknown, Ali Sami, grandson of Sh.Isa Qassim, who got injured with birdshot and arrested yesterday in Duraz.₁
More than 4 men were arrested in Sitra and Sanabis after raiding their houses₂. Qassim Mohammed, from Mahooz was arrested also, after going to the Gudaibiya police station to raise a complaint against the police officers who stole his phone, as BCHR has documented.
As usual, many peaceful protests have gone out calling for freedom during this holy month, and as expected many of them were suppressed causing lots of injuries, in Sanabis and Sitra.₃
The appeal court has postponed the medics’ trial to 1st October, 2012 for the final hearing.₄

Bahrain updates: 29July: Riot police continue to arrest women and children.
Two women were arrested, one for protesting alone in Manama in front of AlQalaa for arresting one of her relative, another is Heba Abdulredha, sister of Abdulaziz Abdulredha the detainee who’s sentence to death, she’s 22 with 2 kids, later security forces dumped Heba next to Aali roundabout. AbdulAziz family has been targeted by mercenaries and thugs since the day he got arrested, as BCHR has documented.
At least 6 young men were arrested, two after raiding their house in AlDaih “We will inform you if they died” said Hanan, a police officer in khamis police station, after their family’s hard attempts to know where their children are, another two were kidnapped, beaten and torture in Dar Kulaib and Hamed Town₁. Also, two children were arrested after being injured in Duraz and Sitra.

Public prosecution has sentenced Mohammed AlMaghni to 60 days under investigation, and accused him to be part of 14 Feb coalition and related to Salmabad bombs storage.

Bahrain updates: 28 July: Darkness Gangs, another name for the Bahraini security forcesAccording to their testimonies to BCHR, Sayed Yousif AlMahafda, a senior member in the centre, stated that he has documented 3 kidnapping cases in Saar by security forces, one of them is only 11 years old, another is 16 years old was kidnapped, beaten and mercenaries stole his phone, other man was kidnapped also, taken to the horse stable in Budaiaaو beaten for half an hour directly shot with three rubber bullets.₁They come out at night only terrorizing the citizens, suppressing peaceful protests and targeting innocents, these are the darkness Gangs. Several peaceful protests have been suppressed causing some injuries in Manama and Sitra₂ and many villages have been under toxic gasses such as Sitra, Bani Jamra, Sanabis, Karzakan and Abu Saiba₃. Bahrain update: 27 July: Security forces targeting children in Bahrain.After Ahmed Al Naham, the child who got injured with birdshots in his eyes, riot police have shot, beaten and arrested Mohammed Mansoor Matter, 11 years from Al Dair, Mohammed has been transferred to the Military Hospital to get treatment.₁Another child has been kidnapped 9 days ago from Samaheej, Hussain AbdulKareem, 11 years old, his family expressed its deep concern because Hussain has Thalassaemia₂. As for Ibrahim Almuqdad statement to BCHR₃, he was beaten with batons, guns, kicked, cursed and sexually harassed before taking him to Gudaibiya police station. He and the other 3 detainees have been investigated by Isa Almajali, who threatened Ibrahim with raping; all 4 detainees have spent most of the three days standing.Moreover, several peaceful protests have gone out around Bahrain₄ last night in Sitra,Sanabis, Duraz, Aali, Sadad and Barbar, all and more have been suppressed with toxic gasses and birdshots causing lots of serious injuries₅.
