While most students r complaining abt exams, 17 yr old political prisoner Mansoor is fighting for his right to take his final exams
Mansoor, an A student, has big dreams of continuing his studies, his imprisonment made him more determined to excel in his studies
Mansoor asked for his books, and spent most of his time studying in prison. But he was not allowed to take his exams
He was told his name was not on the list of students who would be allowed to take their exams, no reasons were given
everytime other students were taken for exams, Mansoor would stand with them holding his pen and demand that he too takes his exams
It was not enough to detain, interrogate and beat Mansoor severely, the regime also punishes him by depriving him of his education
I went to visit Mansoor in prison with his family, I am proud to call him a fellow activist
