Urgent: Prisoners of Dry Dock are protesting inside jail demanding that Ahmed Aoun gets medical treatment for his eye
prison admin is still refusin treatment for Ahmed, even tho his case is critical & he could loose his eyesight
Ahmed called his sister yesterday and said "everyday I see less light from my eye"
17 year old Ahmed said "I'm afraid tomorrow I'll wake up and it will be completely dark, then it will be too late"
Too many young men have lost their eyes, many because they were denied treatment
Ali lost his eye months back because when he went to hospital secret police interrogated him until the next day
By the time a doctor was allowed to see him he said "its too late, I can't do anything now"
We are afraid if Ahmed Aoun is not taken to hospital for surgery immediately he might also be told that its too late
