angry arabiya

I look to Sitra to the family of 14 yr old Martyr Ali Al-Shaikh, everyday the pain inflicted upon them increases

Since Ali's death members of his family have been in and out of jail, some have gone in and remain in detention

Ali's family dont have time to mourn, they go from one prison to another, from one visit to another

and last night ALi's uncle, Abbas Al-Shaikh, another witness to the killing, was beaten severely and arrested as well

I wish one of those politicians wud go to Ali's family and explain how things have changed in this country

"things are changing but u still cant put a headstones on ur sons grave out of fear that riot police will break it"

"Things have changed thats why half your family is in hiding, and the other half are in prison"

"Things have changed thats why pro-democracy protesters are on trial instead of your sons killer"

"and things have changed, thats why you worry abt how ull protect ur children from the suffocating teargas every night"

wanna know if things have changed, dont ask the British ambassador, ask the family of martyr Ali Al-Shaikh

you dont even need to wait for an answer, just look into their eyes filled with pain and anger, and ull know
