For the first time a big protest in the capital manama #bahrain

@SAIDYOUSIF and @NABEELRAJAB at the front of the Manama March

Riot police hold their sheilds and come closer. Officer speaks to @NABEELRAJAB saying "leave now ur protest is illegal" nabeel says "we're peaceful, not doing anything illegal"

They attacked us, sprayed my face with something, sitting in an alley, can hardly see

Seems @NABEELRAJAB has been beaten badly, mostly in the face, and now he is in hospital. Not sure if hez under arrest or not.

 @NABEELRAJAB's son saw his dad in the hospital, carried by police, his face swollen, shouting "3a2edoon 3a2edoon"

When Adam tried to take a pic of his dad he got pushed and the phone was taken from him 

@SAIDYOUSIF was hit with a stun grenade on his leg and fell to the ground, hurting his arms and head.

Now me and @NABEELRAJABs lawyer are being stopped at the hospital, told we are not allowed in #bahrain

 

The hospital is like a military base, filled with police and mukhabarat. All doors are guarded #bahrain

 

@SAIDYOUSIF tho hez hurt came to check on @NABEELRAJAB in the hospital. He was threatened by the police #bahrain

 

Police told @SAIDYOUSIF we know ur injured and if u don't leave we'll tell them where u got ur injury #bahrain 

@SAIDYOUSIF replied, proud that he was hurt while protesting, "tell them! Its already all over twitter" #bahrain

 

So the government claims they "found @NABEELRAJAB lying on the ground" and decided to help him #bahrain
