Bahrain updates: 24 July: Gruesome violations against children's rights in Bahrain.
In contrary to children’s rights and UNISCO, Bahrain authorities kidnapped Ibrahim Ahmad AlMuqdad, 15 years old from AlBilad AlQadeem after shooting him with birdshots and beating him with batons “HELP ME -was Ibrahim last line, before riot police left the place taking him with Hassan AlAkri, Jehad AlHabshi and Sadiq” said a witness ₁. Also, Jaffer Eid from Ma’ameer was arrested without allowing him to call his family or to appoint a lawyer, as BCHR has documented. ₂
Several peaceful protests have gone out tonight in Bahrain calling for freedom and rights₃, as usual; security forces have faced these protests with toxic gases and birdshot causing lots of injuries in Sitra and Samaheej₄. Moreover, mercenaries have directly shot a photographer documenting their crimes in Sitra. ₅
The appeal court has postponed Nabeel Rajab case to 5th August, 2012. ₆
