24 June: Permanency of mock trials, malicious accusations and tyrannical verdicts in Bahrain judicial system.
1. Ali Almuwali, the protester who got injured in the head in Bilad Qadeem protest last Friday, still unconscious after his injury and 4 hours long surgery. ₁
2. As for trials, Nabeel Rajab, Human Rights Defender, trial was postponed to 28 June to hear the final verdict. " Nabeel did not make up the facts, and criticizing the Ministry of Interior is not an insult, whereas the ministry has declared the dead too." said the defense of Rajab.₂ Also, postponing the officer's trial who's accused of torturing Naziha Saeed, the journalist, to 9-September-2012. ₃ According to Reem khalaf, the lawyer, Mahdi Sahwan was sentenced to one month for inciting the government in AlWefaq assembly, and where he has already spent 2 months 17 days in prison. And Finally, the prosecution has sentenced Elyas, nephew of martyr AbdulKareem Alfakhrawi, to 15 days under investigation.
3. Authorities have released 22 prisoners out of 24 from Bani Jamra with ensuring the place of residence. ₄ Moreover, National Democratic Assemblage has raised a lawsuit against the Minister of Interior for targeting last Friday march. ₅ Dr. Saeed Alsamahiji broke his hunger strike, after 3 days.
