غازات مسيل الدموع أم غازات سامّة؟
تتفاوت تأثيرات الغازات المسيلة للدموع حسب نوعها وكميتها التي يستنشقها الشخص المُستهدَف، ومن أشهر تلك الأنواع:
1. الأقل تأثيراً: غاز سي إن وهو شائع الإستخدام، ذو تأثير وقتي يتلاشى سريعاً.
2. المتوسط التأثير: غاز سي إس، أكثر فعالية وسُميّة وإضراراً للبيئة.
3. الأقوى تأثيراً: غاز سي آر، وقد تم إيقافه عام 1956 بسبب تأثيراته المُسببة لتقيؤ متواصل قد يُفضي إلى الوفاة.
في البحرين، يتم إستخدام غاز سي إس غالباً في قمع المتظاهرين، بالإضافة إلى إستهداف المنازل مما يُسبب إختناقات عديدة لأهالي تلك المناطق. على الرغم من أن إرشادات وقوانين إستخدام غازات مسيل الدموع تُفضي إلى استخدامه في المناطق المفتوحة، إلا أن النظام البحريني يستخدمه في إغراق المناطق السكنية. في الآونة الأخيرة، قامت قوات النظام البحريني بإطلاق غازات مسيل الدموع ذات اللون الأصفر، وهو ما يُفسر كونه غاز سي آر، وهي مادة صفراء باهتة تبلغ قوتها ستة إلى عشرة أضعاف قوة غاز سي إس.
يستمر تأثير مادة سي آر لفترات طويلة، وقد يظل على الأسطح، وخاصة الأسطح المسامية، لمدة تصل إلى 60 يوماً. رغم أن السي آر يصنف كسلاح غير مميت يستخدم لتفريق الجموع، إلا أن العديد من الدراسات أثارت الشكوك حول هذا التصنيف. فبالإضافة إلى أنه قد يتسبب في أذى شديد للرئتين، فقد يؤثر أيضاً تأثيرات بالغة على القلب والكبد. ويصنف الجيش الأمريكي مادة سي آر حالياً كسلاح كيماوي قتالي يتسبب في آثار جانبية خطيرة على البشر. هذا ما يُفسر سقوط عدد من الضحايا بسبب إستنشاقهم لمسيل الدموع في البحرين، ويُمكن الجزم بأن النظام البحريني يستخدم غازات سامة قد ينتج عنها أمراض خطيرة في المستقبل! وفي الأيام الأخيرة الماضية، استخدم النظام البحريني غازات مسيل الدموع بلوني الأحمر والأزرق، بالإضافة إلى عبوات غازية مجهولة المادة والمصدر، وهو ما لم يتضح لنا ماهية مكوناتها السامة! والبحث جاري..
Tear Gases OR Toxic Gases?
The effects of tear gas are varying according to the type and quantity inhaled by the targeted individual. The most well-known types are:
1. The least effective: CN gas, commonly used with temporary effect, it is fading fast.
2. Average effect: CS gas, more effective, toxic and damaging to the environment.
3. The most effective: CR gas, it has been suspended in 1956 because of its effects, that cause continuous vomiting, may lead to death
In Bahrain, CS gas is commonly used in suppression of the demonstrators, in addition to targeting the houses causing suffocation for many residents of those areas. Although the guidelines and the laws of using tear gas show that its used in open areas, but the Bahraini regime using it to dump the residential areas. Recently, the Bahraini regime forces fired a yellow color tear gas, which explains that it is a CR gas, which is a pale yellow substance with a magnitude strength by six to ten times of CS gas.
The effect of CR gas continues for long periods, it may remain on surfaces, especially on the porous surfaces up to 60 days. Although the CR gas is classified as not a deadly weapon used to disperse the crowd, but several studies have raised doubts about this classification. In addition to that, it may causes severe damage to the lungs, it also have profound effects on the heart and liver. The American military is classified the CR gas as a chemical combat weapon, which causes a serious side effects for humans.
This explains the fall of the number of victims due to inhaling tear gas in Bahrain, and we can say for sure that the Bahraini regime is using toxic gases, which may result in serious illnesses in the future!
