This is 14 year old Yaseen. A happy kid, who loved talking and joking arnd with everybody #bahrain
Yaseen was born with a lung problem, but that did not effect his life. Every 2 yrs he needed antibiotics #bahrain
Other than those antibiotics Yaseen was a normal kid, living a happy life with his family #bahrain
That was until the bahraini regime started attacking villages with tear gas #bahrain
At first riot police only attacked the protests, but then they started walking the streets attacking homes #bahrain
Yaseens mother was constantly afraid for him and his older brother Karar who had the same condition #bahrain
In November of last year Yaseens home was attacked with tear gas, one thrown into their home #bahrain
The family were so afraid they locked themselves up in a room, for hours. Afraid for the 2 brothers #bahrain
After that their condition became so much worse, that they had to have oxygen masks at home #bahrain
This is how Yaseens family were trying to save their children from the teargas #bahrain
In dec Yaseen walked out of his house & was shot @ with tear gas He ran back in & threw up #bahrain
For almost 3 weeks Yaseen was in this condition, hardly able 2 speak cuz of lack of oxygen #bahrain
When the family, including Yaseen himself, told doctors at Salmaniya that teargas was the reason, they knew it won't be written #bahrain
Infact one doctor told the family "maybe its the airconditioner that caused this" #bahrain
Yeah an airconditioner that has been sealed for months in an attempt to stop the teargas #bahrain
In all his life Zakariya had never seen his younger brother in such a state #bahrain
few days ago as Yaseens mum was on her way to pray 4 her son by her parents grave, they got the worst call any parent cud ever get #bahrain
They wud never again see his warm smile and innocent eyes. #bahrain
Yaseens family in agony, their son another victim of the "non-lethal" teargas #bahrain
Yaseens family know, that if it wasn't for the teargas, their son cudv lived a long and happy life #bahrain
Instead, they had to lower this 14 year olds small body into a grave #bahrain
With tear gas attacks continuing Yaseens family have their other son, Karrar to worry abt #bahrain
As 1 victims relative once said "they r called the riot police, there is no rioting in my house, why do they shoot inside my home" #bahrain
Yaseen shud be eatin his favorite candy, that he had hidden in his cupboard with his books #bahrain
Yaseen shud be scribbling his name on his bedside table right now instead of sleeping #bahrain
Yaseen shud be with his dad who did all he can to save his child, & is broken cuz he cudnt #bahrain
Another angel has been killed by the Bahraini regime, we mourn the death of another child #bahrain
Tomorrow as is customary in #bahrain ppl will go out in a funeral procession marking the 3rd day since the martyrs death
